Pierre Ayraud, , aka Thomas Narcejac. French author who collaborated with his countryman, Pierre Boileau, to write crime fiction as Boileau-Narcejac.
In 1948 he was awarded on of the most important literary awards in France the Prix du Roman d'Aventures, for
La Mort est du Voyage
. It is given to the author of the best example of detective fiction in the world each year. He met Boileau, who was a 1938 winner, at the awards dinner.
