Licenciado en Física Fundamental y Doctor por la Universidad de Oviedo, la mayor parte de su obra se corresponde con la ensayística, con preferencia hacia el género de ciencia ficción. Se considera influido por autores como Stanislaw Lem, Jorge Luis Borges, el poeta romano Lucrecio, Philip K. Dick o Bertrand Russell.
