Wu Ming 4 devoted many writings to J.R.R. Tolkien (including a novel entitled Stella del mattino), took part to several public inititatives in the field of Tolkien Studies, and edited an Italian critical edition of Tolkien's The Homecoming of Beorthnoth, Beorhthelm's Son.
